Asset management exec settles in Center City East

Medium fc20419e1869ff24f63bc81d4f698939 Andrea L. Melia bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 1326 Spruce St. in Center City East from Joseph A. Younes Jr. for $375,000 on April 9.

The 1,209-square-foot condo, Unit 2203, is part of the Center City One condominium development, which was built in 1900.

Melia serves as the treasurer of Aberdeen Asia Pacific Income Fund Inc. and the head of fund accounting for Aberdeen Asset Management Inc. Before joining Aberdeen in 2009, she was the director of fund administration and accounting oversight for Princeton Administrators LLC, a division of BlackRock Inc.

She earned an M.B.A. with concentration in finance from Rider University and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Scranton.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 237 condo sales in Center City East during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $262,250.
