Keith Geismar and Ruth Geismar bought a home at 15-52 208th St. in Bay Terrace from Murray and Paula Liebowitz for $870,000 on July 10.

The Liebowitzes bought the property for $900,000 on Aug. 2007. The 3,267-square-foot house was built in 1975.

Mr. Geismar is a co-founder and managing principal at Jack Ryan, a boutique consulting and financial advisory firm in midtown Manhattan that was formed in 2007.

He's also served as a managing principal at Pzena Investment Management and managing director at Citibank. He also worked for Lehman Brothers, where he was senior vice president.

He earned a B.A. in general studies from the University of Maryland.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 65 home sales in Bay Terrace/Clearview/Fort Totten in 2008, with median sales price of $620,000.
