Pathologists acquire Perinton 3BD

Medium ae2195660e5f2127f646f110f1f9ebbb Theresa T. Sherrod and James M. Gagnier bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 142 Park Road in Perinton from Steven Whitman and Christine Whitman for $799,900 on Feb. 10.

The 4,168-square-foot home was built in 1971. Referred to as the mushroom house, the property was designed by architect James Johnson.

Sherrod is an anatomic and clinical pathologist and a dermatopathologist.

She earned her M.D. from Cornell University. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at National Naval Medical Center and her fellowship in dermatopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.

Gagnier is an anatomic and clinical pathologist and a dermatopathologist.

He obtained his M.D. from Georgetown University.

Sherrod and Gagnier also own a home at 77 Tobey Court in Pittsford. They paid $320,000 for the property in January 2006.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 439 home sales in Perinton during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $168,000.
