Child care company founder sells Delray Beach condo

Medium pryor Thaddeus Pryor and Timothy Annis sold a two-bedroom, three bath condo at 200 NE 2nd Ave. in Delray Beach for $759,300 to TJP at City Walk LLC on July 7.

Pryor and Annis paid $796,300 for Unit #205 in Dec. 2006, the same year it was built. There are 40 units in the City Walk at Pineapple Grove development, which also houses retail space.

Pryor serves as CEO and chairman of the board of Children of America, an educational child care company that he co-founded in 1998. The company has several locations in both Virginia and Pennsylvania and is headquartered in Delray Beach.

He is also a partner at World Films, a film production and motion picture distribution company headquartered in Capistrano Beach, Calif.

Condo sales in Delray Beach dropped 42 percent in 2007. The median sales price also dropped $46,000 last year, from $245,000 in 2006 to $199,000 in 2007.

Sales in City Walk at Pineapple Grove fell 85.7 percent in 2007. The median sales price, however, rose 11.8 percent, from $487,175 in 2006 to $544,809 in 2007.
