Metal refinery president buys $1.9M in Boca

Howard Mofshin and his wife, Dani, bought a five-bedroom, five bath home at 6495 Enclave Way in Boca Raton for $1.9 million from Kenneth Levy on Aug. 1.

Levy paid $1.95 million for the property in June 2004. The 5,295-square-foot house was built in 2000.

Mr. Mofshin is the president of Cash4Gold, a metal refinery that opened in 2001 in Pompano Beach.

Home sales in Boca Raton have dropped 24.3 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also dropped $50,000, from $420,000 in 2007 to $370,000 so far this year.
