Academy Award nominated producer and Horatio Hornblower's namesake lived in this building

Producer, Arthur Hornblow Jr., lived in this building in 1976. He was a legendary figure in the Hollywood film community. Hornblow was nominated for an Academy Award four times and was married to screen great Myrna Loy from 1936 to 1942. He was also responsible for a young actress named Constance Ockelman changing her name to Veronica Lake. After collaborating on a project together, writer C.S. Forester named the fictional sea captain, Horatio Hornblower, after Hornblow. He passed away in 1976.
