Home is on the list of endangered Ill. landmarks

The home is still currently owned by Frances Rose, who put it on the market for $2.3 million earlier this year. The home has four bedrooms and spans 5,300 square feet. The non-profit Landmarks Illinois preservation group recently placed it on its eighth annual list of the Chicago area's most endangered places. Preservationists fear the home is at risk because developers had expressed interest in demolishing the home and splitting up the expansive lot.
