by BlockShopper Historian published Aug. 12, 2011
Former six-time MLB All-Star Bobby Bonilla owned this house from 1992 to 2010. His ex-wife Millie was awarded the house following their 2010 divorce. Bonilla played for nine teams during his career and was a three-time Silver Slugger Award winner. He was a member of the 1997 World Series Champion Florida Marlins. Bonilla will collect $1.2 million annually from the Mets for the next 25 years despite not having played for the team since 1999 or the big leagues since 2001. The deal is considered one of the worst in sports history.
