Former UST Inc. CEO Vincent A. Gierer Jr. owns this house. UST Inc. was the holding company for U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company. UST Inc. was purchased by Altria Group (formerly Philip Morris Companies Inc.) in 2009. Gierer served as CEO of UST Inc. from 1993 to 2006 and its President from 1990 to 2005. He is a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Army prior to joining UST Inc. in 1978.
