Member of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's brain trust owned this house

Thomas Corcoran was an attorney and political insider in 1947 when he owned this house. He was a part of Franklin D. Roosevelt's inner circle and organized many New Deal administrative agencies. Corcoran also assisted in drafting the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. He was featured on the cover of Time magazine in September of 1938. As a young man Corcoran was a clerk for Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. at the U.S. Supreme Court. He passed away in 1981.
