Rove, who was former President George W. Bush's right hand man from the time he ran for governor of Texas in 1994, bought this home in 2001, just as he was moving to Washington to work in Bush's cabinet. The Texas native worked as a political consultant for many notable Republican politicians such as John Ashcroft and Phil Gramm. Rove's official title in the Bush Administration was Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff. He resigned from both posts in August 2007. These days he works as a political analyst and contributor for Fox News, Newsweek and The Wall Street Journal. He also owns property in Texas and Florida.
