United States Secretary of Agriculture and president of the LDS Church owned this house

Former United States Secretary of Agriculture and president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) Ezra Benson owned this house in 1967. He was secretary of agriculture for both terms of the Eisenhower administration. Benson was also the 13th president of the LDS Church from 1985 until his death 1994. In politics and faith, Benson was known for his very conservative views.
