Former president Bill Clinton and his former presidential candidate wife, Hillary, still own this sprawling Observatory Circle home. The Clinton's paid $2.85 million for the property in 2000, just as Bill's second term as president as winding down and just before Hillary assumed office as a U.S. Senator from New York (2001). After losing to future president Barack Obama in the 2008 Democratic Primaries, Hilary was named the 67th Secretary of State. These days Bill Clinton is a renowned international personality who frequently gives lectures and promotes humanitarian efforts.
