April 16, 2010 the residents of SW Watefront in DC were treated to the grand opening of the newest Safeway Store. The new features include a Starbucks Coffee, inside and outside dining areas, a glass enclosed firepit, dry cleaner services, Bread bakery, pastry bakery, pizza oven, beer and wine section, olive bar, hot and cold food bar, floral shop and the list goes on and on - it is a must see!
