Georgetown landmark

This address is one of the three homes that were put on the market in the mid-2000s that sit on land that was once part of Evermay, a private four-acre historic landmark on 28th Street NW. Allen W. Dulles, President Dwight Eisenhower's director of the Central Intelligence Agency and later President Bill Clinton's chief of staff, Erskine Bowles, have rented this home. The property was owned by Harry L. Belin, the grandson of international diplomat F. Lammot Belin, who bought Evermay in 1923. The home's current owners are Russell Katz and Randy Zwirn, the CEO of Siemens Energy Americas.
