Civil War General owned this house

Horatio Gibson was a retired army general in 1913 when he owned this house. He graduated from West Point in 1847 and commanded Battery C, 3rd U.S. Artillery and was part of the U.S. Horse Artillery Brigade during the Civil War. When Gibson passed away in 1924 at the age of 97 he was identified as the oldest living graduate of West Point.
