Jane Marilley was president of Courtesy Associates in 1961 when she owned this house. Courtesy Associates is one of the premier meeting and planning firms in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Marilley founded the company in 1947. She went on to become a member of the Washington Business Hall of Fame and one of the first woman directors of the Greater Washington Board of Trade.
