Where to buy in Maryland?
by Patrick Mace published Jun. 01, 2011
Anywhere in Maryland is a good buy!
Certainly some areas are more desirable, and hence, pricier than other areas.
Areas like Potomac, Bethesda, Hunt Valley, Ruxton, Rockville and even some parts of Howard County can be at the top of the price list. These areas fall far below the astronomical prices of similar D.C. properties which can often be double or tripple the price of a Maryland address. If you ask me, it does not make economic sense to purchase in D.C.
Many of my clients choose to purchase real estate in Maryland, where they own land and more home for the same price as a DC, address. The commute may be longer, but in the end, they have more property for less.
