Rudolf Allers was a professor of psychology at Georgetown University in 1961 when he owned this house. He was a Fullbright lecturer in 1955 and in 1957 he became a professor Emeritus at Georgetown University. Allers published several books and wrote many articles with his specialty being a combination of psychiatry, philosophy and anthropology. He passed away in 1963.
