Celebrated architect lived in this building

Architect, Ely Kahn, lived in this building in 1967. He designed several Art Deco skyscrapers in New York of note during the 1920s and 1930s. The Insurance Center Building, The Bergdorf Goodman Building, and the Squibb Building are all prominent examples of Kahn's work. Author, Ayn Rand, worked in Kahn's office for research while writing her classic "The Fountainhead." Kahn passed away in 1972.
