Musician purchases Glen Ellyn 3BD

Medium b8478457ed97b3a40bfc20184c1fbb54 David A. Gauger, II, and Lorelei J. Gauger bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 229 Lorraine Avenue in Glen Ellyn from Elaine J. Molk $370,000 on August 11.

The 1,225-square-foot house was built in 1961 in Gilberts subdivision in the neighborhood of Glen Ellyn North.

David Gauger II is a trumpet artist and professor of sacred music. He serves as conductor of the Moody Symphonic Band, coordinator of instrumental instruction at the Moody Bible Institute and is an assistant principal trumpet with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra.

He holds a bachelor of music degree from Wheaton College and a master of music degree from Northwestern University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 240 home sales in Glen Ellyn in 2008, with a median sales price of $327,500.
