Stephen A. Laser sold a two-bath condo at 1660 1st St. in Highland Park to Lawrence Novak for $427,500 on Sept. 18.

The 1,980-square-foot Unit #406 is in the Sheridan Square development, which was built in 1998 in the Downtown Highland Park subdivision in the neighborhood of Highland Park East.

Laser is the managing director of Stephen A. Laser Associates, a firm focused on selecting and promoting personnel for and advising of a number of organizations nationwide.

He received a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Tennessee, and is a graduate of the Management Institute at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 38 sales in Highland Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $339,500.
