Dr. Jessica T. Emery and Andrew D. Emery bought a three-bedroom, three-bath condo at 2854 N. Paulina St. in Lake View from John J. Schwan for $712,000 on Sept. 10.

Schwan, along with Regina M. Dimarco, bought Unit #4 for $699,000 in Feb. 2005. The 3,300-square-foot unit is part of the Columbia Place development.

Dr. Emery is a dentist with her own private practice in Chicago. She is also affiliated with the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and is a practitioner of aesthetic dentistry. Prior to opening her own practice, she was an associate at Jordan J. Tilden, DDS PC and Associates.

She received her B.S. from Susquehanna University and earned her D.M.D. from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,115 home sales in Lake View in 2008, with a median sales price of $330,000.
