John and Susan Gancer sold a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 430 N. Euclid Ave. in Oak Park to Chad and Regina Savage for $960,000 on Sept. 8.

The 3,602-square-foot house in the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District subdivision was built in 1920.

Mr. Gancer works as a real estate agent at Gagliardo Realty. He has been in the industry for 20 years, serving the areas of Oak Park, River Forest and Forest Park.

He received his B.S. in biology from Boston College and his M.B.A. in finance from Indiana University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 891 home sales in Oak Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $345,000.
