Michael and Stephanie Jaffe sold a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 135 N. Harvey Ave. in Oak Park to Jodi and David Walker for $409,000 on Sept. 9.

The Jaffes paid $490,000 for the property in July 2005. The 1,950-square-foot house in the North Central Oak Park/Downtown neighborhood was built in 1912.

Mr. Jaffe is a cosmetics marketing manager at Sun Chemical Performance Pigments. He joined the company in 2007. Prior to working at Sun Chemical, he was the national sales manager of personal care and cosmetics at Chemcentral Corp., where he served for more than 15 years.

He earned his B.B.A. from Emory University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 891 home sales in Oak Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $345,000.
