Stephen and Kathleen Scallan bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 906 Pawnee Road in Wilmette from JLP Restoration LLC for $1,352,500 on Sept. 22.

JLP Restoration paid $675,000 for the property in May 2006. The 3,168-square-foot house in the North Central Wilmette neighborhood was built in 2007.

Mr. Scallan is a partner at Staes & Scallan P.C., where his practice areas include commercial litigation, appellate litigation and white collar criminal litigation.

He received his B.A. from Northwestern University and he earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.

Ms. Scallan is a partner at Sidley Austin LLP. She is also a certified public accountant.

She received her bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois and earned her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 268 sales in Wilmette in 2008, with a median sales price of $550,000.
