Real estate exec, HR manager buy in Bucktown

Medium c27ed09e0d8c731e69d7765fa52c9fd9 Seth and Dana Singerman bought a three-bath home at 1732 N. Winchester Ave. in Bucktown from Kenneth and Lisa Reber for $1.3 million on Sept. 4.

The Rebers paid $1,432,500 for the property in June 2005. The 3,043-square-foot house was built in 2001.

Mr. Singerman is a managing director at GEM Realty Capital, a privately owned real estate holding company in Chicago.

He earned his B.A. from Cornell University and his M.B.A. from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Ms. Singerman is a senior human resources manager at Wrigley.

She earned her bachelor's in psychology and organizational behavior from the University of Michigan and completed her graduate studies at the Loyola University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 299 home sales in Bucktown in 2008, with a median sales price of $415,000.
