Management consultant sells Evanston 4BD

Medium 4390657765784c524dc1b634a812aac4 Shelley and George Pantelic sold a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 1037 Monroe St. in Evanston to Melissa and Michael Valentinas for $565,000 on Sept. 4.

The 1,748-square-foot house in the Central Evanston neighborhood was built in 1925.

Ms. Pantelic is a management consulting contractor in Chicago. Prior to that, she was a manager at Andersen Business Consulting and at BearingPoint.

She attended Northwestern University and Washington State University.

Mr. Pantelic is the owner of Geokat Granite, a company that designs and installs countertops and specialty products. He also owns Aquarius Kitchenware, a company specializing in stainless steel kitchen sinks and vitreous china. Previously, he was the manager at Huen Electric.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 687 home sales in Evanston in 2008, with a median sales price of $300,000.
