Ramona Mateiu sold a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 3614 N. Fremont St. in Wrigleyville to Jose Filho and Carolina Verissimo for $367,000 on Sept. 8.

Mateiu bought the property for $375,000 in July 2004. The 3,240-square-foot Unit #2 is one of three condos in the development at 3614 N. Fremont St., which was built in 1896.

Mateiu is an associate general counsel at ThoughtWorks Inc., a global IT group with an exclusive focus on end-to-end global software development and delivery. Prior to this, she served as an associate general counsel at PrivateBancorp Inc. and as a corporate associate at Schiff Hardin LLP.

She earned her degree form the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her J.D. from the University of California–Berkeley School of Law.

Filho serves as software engineer at the Chicago Trading Co., a proprietary market making firm. Before that, he was a technology associate at Citi and a software developer at ZS Associates.

He earned his B.S. in civil engineering from Universidade Federal do Ceara, an M.S. in computer science and a master's degree in computer science form the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Verissimo is the global leadership development senior manager at the Whirlpool Corp. Previously, she was the strategic competencies manager, human resources manager and human resources generalist with the company.

She attended the University of Illinois.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 115 condo sales in Wrigleyville in 2008, with a median price of $375,000.
