James and Dawn Gryzik bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 118 Buckingham Court in Elk Grove Village from Sophia and Donald Quinn for $470,000 on Sept. 16.

The 3,380-square-foot house in the Central Elk Grove Village neighborhood was built in 1985.

Mr. Gryzik is a system integration and program manager at Motorola Mobile Devices, a telecommunications company.

He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering technology from Northern Illinois University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 278 home sales in Elk Grove Village in 2008, with a median sales price of $210,000.
