Northwestern freshmen adviser sells Evanston 4BD

Medium 7ad334cbc8d67a98941277388effaee8 David and Judith Buchholz sold a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 2023 Maple Ave. in Evanston to Steven M. Matz and Kristen L. Armstrong-Matz for $455,000 on Sept. 24.

The 2,008-square-foot house in the North Evanston neighborhood was built in 1909.

Dr. Buchholz is a freshmen adviser in the integrated science program at Northwestern University. Previously, he served as director of the integrated science program at the school.

He holds a B.S. in physics from the University of Rochester and his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,127 sales in Evanston during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $340,000.
