Samuel Knighton and his wife, Jeri, bought a six-bedroom, four-bath home at 525 S. Saylor Ave. in Elmhurst from Lisa Serritella for $900,000 on Oct. 14.

The Knightons acquitted the property for $340,000 in Oct. 2006. The 4,116-square-foot house was built in 2007 in the Elmhurst South neighborhood.

The Knightons are the owner of Knighton Construction Co., an Elmhurst-based company that specializes in luxury single family homes and upscale hospitals. Ms. Knighton manages the office while Mr. Knighton manages the sites.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 372 home sales in Elmhurst during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $339,000.
