Karen and Rex Homme bought a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 1641 Imperial Circle in Warrenville from John and Susan Howell for $930,000 on Oct. 14.

The Howells bought the property for $500,000 in Aug. 1997. The 5,314-square-foot house was built in 1988 in the Warrenville East neighborhood.

Mr. Homme is a partner in the complex business litigation and forensic accounting groups at StoneTurn Group LLP, an independent dispute consulting firm which provides financial, accounting analysis, economic analysis, expert witness and forensic technology services to attorneys, corporations and individuals. Prior to this, he served as a managing director at Kroll, a senior manager at Deloitte, a senior consultant at Peterson Consulting and a staff auditor at Simon Property Group.

He earned a B.S. degree in accounting from Butler University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 151 home sales in Warrenville during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $173,500.
