Mark Pridgeon and Mackenzi Huyser bought a 2.5-bath home at 5346 S. Drexel Ave. in Hype Park from Linda J. Dunn for $540,000 on Oct. 21.

Dunn acquired the house for $690,000 in March 2006. The 2,026-square-foot house was built in 1908.

Huyser serves as an associate professor of social work and department chair at Trinity Christian College.

She received her B.A. from Trinity Christian College, her M.S.W. from Grand Valley State University and her Ph.D. from Andrews University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 230 sales in Hyde Park during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $200,000.
