Sports executive producer takes 4BD in Deerfield

Medium 0d436937fadd1f9727e85241852cd750 Mark Hulsey and Nancy Hulsey bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 1451 North Ave. in Deerfield from Michael Kalcheim and Annette Kalcheim for $680,919 on Oct. 23.

The 3,119-square-foot house was built in 1940 in the Woodland subdivision in the neighborhood of Deerfield Northwest.

Mr. Hulsey is vice president for production at the Big Ten Network in Chicago. He joined Big Ten in June after working as executive producer at Fox Sports Midwest.

Before he joined Fox in 2000, he was vice president for broadcasting with the Phoenix Coyotes. He also worked with the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche.

He graduated from the University of Kansas.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 160 home sales in Deerfield during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $400,000.
