Madison Dearborn founder pays $3.825 million on Burling

Madison Dearborn managing director/co-founder David Mosher bought a six-bedroom, 7.1 bath at 1907 N. Burling for $3.825 million from Tinkers Development on Aug. 16

Tinkers, a Chicago developer, paid $1.14 million for the property in Aug. 2004. The home was listed for $3.878 million and sold after 512 days-- nearly a year and one-half- on the market.

Mosher, 50, co-founded the private equity firm MDP in 1992 after nine years with First Chicago Venture Capital. He's also held various positions with Teradyne, Inc. and Texas Instruments.
