Jones Day associate pays $625K

Lawyers Brad Brasser and Carrie Bassi bought a three-bedroom, 2.1 bath condo at 820 W. George for $625,000 from Kristina Pauley and Christopher Kiergan on Aug. 25.

The sale for Unit #1 was on the market for 102 days with an original list price of $686,000.
Brasser is an associate in corporate law at the Chicago office of Jones Day. He received his J.D. from Indiana University (2000) and earned a B.A. from Northwestern in 1997.

Bassi, 31, left her job as a litigation associate at Jones Day to join legal search firm McCormack Schreiber in June. She earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law after attending Georgetown for her B.A.

Kiergan, 45, formerly worked as a managing consultant in Chicago with financial consutling firm Edgar, Dunn & Co. Pauley, 39, is a managing consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Consulting, which is now owned by IBM.

They both received master's degrees from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management in 1995.

There are four condo units in the building at 820 W. George.
