Mark C. Gibbs and Colleen Gibbs sold a six-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 714 Linden Ave. in Wilmette to Kathryn M. Bauer and Patrick J. Spain for $1.5 million on Aug. 26.

The Gibbses paid $1.6 million for the house in Sept. 2004. The 4,900-square-foot house, built in 2004, is in East Wilmette.

Mr. Gibbs is the managing director of J.P. Morgan.

He holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 311 home sales in Wilmette during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $615,500.
