Pharmacy exec unloads 4BD in Northbrook

Medium 028a8879db1f2b58ab96017d1245850e Joseph and Bethany Calomo sold a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1948 Highland Ave. in Northbrook to Michelle and Kenneth Lee for $640,000 on Sept. 17.

The Calomos paid $769,000 for the property in Aug. 2006. The 1,359-square-foot house in the West Northbrook neighborhood was built in 2005.

Mr. Calomo currently serves as director of pharmacy services at Northeast Rehabilitation Health Network and senior consultant of integrated healthcare delivery at Integrated Pharmacy Solutions Inc. Prior to that, he worked for Walgreens as director of strategy, director of clinical operations for the New England area and manager of healthcare strategy and services.

Before Walgreens, he was an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago and as an assistant dean and assistant professor at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

He earned his B.S. in pharmacy and his Pharm.D. from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and his M.B.A. from the Suffolk University Sawyer School of Management in 2001.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 436 home sales in Northbrook in 2008, with a median sales price of $417,000.
