School interim head, teacher settle in Park Slope

Medium 4dc07103731f4014403fb0f3157212d0 Brad M. Choyt and Charlotte Choyt bought a 976-square-foot home at 320 15th St. in Brooklyn from Sara L. Edwards and the estate of Lisa Green for $865,000 on Sept. 24.

Green paid $735,000 for the property in Oct. 2003. The home was built in 1899 in the Park Slope neighborhood.

Mr. Choyt is the interim head at Blue School in Lower Manhattan.

He most recently was the founding director of Green School in Bali, Indonesia. Before that, he was a director of education at the Rubin Museum in New York. He also held teaching positions at St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H., and at Miss Porter's School in Farmington, Conn.

Mrs. Choyt teaches English and creative writing.

She has a bachelor's degree and a master of fine arts degree from Harvard University and from Columbia University, respectively.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,709 sales in Brooklyn in 2008, with a median sales price of $448,000.
