The 2,565-square-foot house was built in 1930 in the Homecrest neighborhood.

Mr. Tydniouk is a quantitative developer at Rabobank International, the corporate and investment banking arm of the Netherlands-based Rabobank Group.

He previously was a quantitative systems engineer at Nomura Securities International Capital Solutions Group and a risk evaluation and management systems chief architect at Constellation Financial Management Co. LLC.

He attended Odessa National Telecommunications Academy.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,643 sales in Brooklyn in 2008, with a median sales price of $450,000.
