Ezra Tessler bought a 2,490-square-foot townhouse at 244 Leonard St. in East Williamsburg from Lucille Giffone, Anthony Giffone and Joanna Boudinet for $675,000 on Oct. 27.

The townhouse was built in 1920.

Tessler is a student in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences of Columbia University-New York.

She received a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge.

Ms. Giffone has been a teacher at Small World Day Care Center in New York.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 19 home sales in East Williamsburg during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $651,000.
