Award-winning filmmaker sells Boerum Hill 2BD for $1.925M

Medium 9ca29131d4ff4eb2a62b1e3842635790 Christopher and Margaret Wilcha sold the two-bedroom, one-bath townhome at 112 Butler St. in Boerum Hill to Douglas Long Glickman for $1.925 million on Nov. 22, 2010.

The 1,100-square-foot house was built in 2005. The Wilchas paid $1.975 million for the property in Feb. 2008.

Mr. Wilcha is an award-winning filmmaker. He is the director and co-producer of Showtime's This American Life, where he garnered two Emmy awards and two International Documentary Association award. His documentary directing credits include MTV's "The Social History of the Mosh Pit", PBS series Second Hand Stories, and TV Land's "I Pity the Fool". He also directed commercials and music videos.

He received his B.A. in philosophy from New York University in 1993 and his M.F.A. in film and video from the California Institute of the Arts in 1999.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 57 home sales in Boerum Hill during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $765,000.
