Teaching non-profit program director sells Brooklyn condo

Medium 03dc12e6d757117b356a52a92a8b62b0 Jonathan D. Schweig and Jennifer M. Cowan sold a condo at 40 Clinton St. in Brooklyn to John Archer for $390,000 on Sept. 17.

The 11-story condo development at 40 Clinton St. was built in 1964 with 153 units. It is part of the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood.

Schweig is a program director for Math for America in New York.

He joined the non-profit organization in 2005 as a program manager. Prior to joining Math for America, he was a middle and upper school teacher at Nightingale Manford School in New York and at Lincoln School in Providence, R.I. she also worked as a teaching assistant at Brown University Department of Mathematics.

Schweig has a B.A. in English and American literature and a B.A. in mathematics from Brown University. He also has an M.A. in curriculum and teacher education from Stanford University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,709 sales in Brooklyn in 2008, with median sales price of $448,000.
