Christine A. Shayne acquired a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 7602 Gentle Bend Drive in San Antonio- Northwest from Crystal D. Little and Gregory P. Parpart on Nov. 17.

Little acquired the property from Elissa and Robert Szymanski in April 2007. The 1,871-square-foot house was built in 2001. It is valued at $154,880.

Shayne has been a researcher at the SBDC National Information Clearinghouse, which is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the University of Texas at San Antonio. It aims to meet the information needs of small business community centers in the United States and its territories. She formerly worked for the Rhode Island Economic Policy Council.

She has a B.A. in social sciences from Providence College and an M.A. in business economics from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
