Medical oncologist swaps 6BD in Chestnut Hill

Medium 9df8fbb3dd40be35ebffd4217499897e Massimo Cristofanilli and Barbara Pro bought a six-bedroom, 3.75-bath home at 150 Bethlehem Pike in Philadelphia from James Edmond Morton IV and Kari L. Ryder-Morton for $850,000 on Dec. 6.

The Mortons paid $480,000 for the property in March 2004. The 5,163-square-foot house was built in 1850 in Chestnut Hill.

Dr. Cristofanilli is a medical oncologist and chairman of the Department of Medical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. In addition, he also serves as associate director of clinical research for Fox Chase's Cancer Center Support Grant from the National Cancer Institute.

He received his M.D. from the University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cabrini Medical Center in New York, and his fellowship in medical oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 78 home sales in Chestnut Hill during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $395,000.
