Howard Blechner and Ruth Blechner sold a home at 79-44 267th St. in Queens to Naveed Rupani and Habeeb B. Rupani for $455,000 on Sept. 24.

The 1,294-square-foot house was built in 1950 in the Floral Park neighborhood.

Mr. Blechner is a principal in the New York City office of Towers Perrin, a global risk management, HR consulting and actuarian services provider. He's also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Hewitt Associates.

He earned a J.D. from the Hofstra University School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 7,604 home sales in Queens during the past 12 months, with median sales price of $430,000.
