Independent film producer buys in Rockaway Park

Debra Eisenstadt bought a home at 131 Beach 139th St. in Queens for $3.4 million from Fred Di Crescento and his wife, Claire, on Sept. 7, 2006.

The two-story Rockaway Park building was built in 1990.

Eisenstadt is a writer, producer, director, photographer and editor. Her first feature, Daydream Believer, won an Independent Spirit Award in 2002 and a grand jury prize at the Slamdance 2001.

She also won best producer for her second feature film, The Limbo Room, which premiered at The Slamdance Film Festival '06.

Her acting career extends to theater, film and television, and was seen in David Mamet's Oleanna, Wendy Wasserstein's The Sister's Rosenweig and The Heidi Chronicles.
