Capital One assistant head teller moves in Richmond Hill

Medium 264630d4a8c2b3849ad9ae41e6a0ef79 Bhawani S. Persaud and Anneeza Persaud bought a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 101-38 124th St. in Queens from the Estate of Gertrude Szymczak for $300,000 on Nov. 22.

The 1,050-square-foot house was built in 1920 in Richmond Hill.

Mr. Persaud has been an assistant head teller at Capital One Bank in Kew Gardens since 2005. He previously worked as security officer at Aviation Safeguard in Rockaway Blvd.

Prior to that, he was a scanning operator at JP Morgan Chase Bank in Brooklyn. He also worked as supervisor and human resources assistant at Geddes Grant Guyana Limited, and as accounts clerk at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.

He attended London Chamber Of Commerce and Transworld Tutorial College/British Training College.

Szymczak died on May 8.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 9,014 home sales in Queens during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $415,000.
