Construction company exec buys in South Jamaica

Medium 97fdac8569c56e6f96a3b62ee807ac0e Matthew Pantofel bought a home at 106-35 156th St. in Queens from Federal National Mortgage Association for $150,000 on Nov. 17.

Federal National Mortgage Association acquired the property in Nov. 2008. The 1,266-square-foot house was built in 1910 in South Jamaica.

Pantofel is president of BJC Contracting Co. Inc., a construction company specializing in high end remodeling and new homes. He has been in the industry for 11 years.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 9,014 home sales in Queens during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $415,000.
